These Terms of Service govern the use of the music platform LUMETRAX, operated by Steffen Janssen, House U10, Toscana Hills, Poumboulinas Street 8873, Argaka, Polis, Cyprus. By registering on the platform, you agree to these terms.
These Terms of Service apply to all users of the LUMETRAX platform (lumetrax.net).
LUMETRAX is a platform for publishing, managing and presenting audio content. Registered users can upload, manage and share music tracks, albums and related content.
Use of the platform requires registration with complete and truthful information. You are responsible for the security of your password and account. Transfer of the account to third parties is not permitted.
Users may only upload content to which they hold the necessary rights or for which an appropriate licence exists. The following is expressly prohibited:
By uploading content, users confirm via the upload checkbox that they hold the necessary rights and indemnify LUMETRAX against all third-party claims arising from the uploaded content.
LUMETRAX is a platform expressly designed for music created with artificial intelligence (AI) — for example using tools such as Suno, Udio, DAW software or hybrid approaches.
The legal status of AI-generated content — in particular whether training data used by AI tools infringes third-party copyright — is subject to ongoing litigation and regulatory debate worldwide.
By uploading AI-generated content, users confirm and warrant that:
LUMETRAX acts solely as a hosting provider pursuant to Art. 14 DSA (Digital Services Act) and is not liable for the legality of AI-generated user content. Upon receipt of substantiated reports of infringement, the relevant content will be removed without delay (notice-and-takedown procedure). Users fully indemnify LUMETRAX against all third-party claims arising from uploaded AI-generated content, including reasonable legal costs.
Each user is solely responsible for the content they upload. LUMETRAX assumes no liability for the legality of user-generated content. Upon becoming aware of legal violations, the relevant content will be removed without delay.
LUMETRAX endeavours to keep the platform continuously available but does not guarantee uninterrupted accessibility. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.
Users may delete their account at any time. LUMETRAX reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union and conclude a paid subscription or other paid service on LUMETRAX, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us by email at [email protected] before the withdrawal period expires.
Where the paid service consists of digital content (e.g. immediate access to platform features), your right of withdrawal expires upon commencement of performance, provided you have expressly consented and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
LUMETRAX reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Users will be informed of material changes by email or by a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after amended terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. Where applicable, the provisions of the GDPR also apply.
